Tulsa, Oklahoma native Anne Erin Clark studied music at the Berkeley College of Music and joined the band Polyphonic Spree, in the early 2000s. “St. Vincent” won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album, and as named Album of the Year by “The Guardian,” Entertainment Weekly, and “Slant Magazine.” Critics began comparing her to Kate Bush and David Bowie. St. Vincent claims to have lived in a room with a shared bathroom at the Ace Hotel in Seattle.

St. Vincent is well-known for her music tracks on the “The Twilight Saga.” She has appeared with David Byrne and Nirvana, and she directed the “Late Night with Seth Myers” band while member Fred Armisen was away. She plays guitar, bass, piano, organ and theremin.
