Pink at the United Center

Come to Chicago’s United Center to see pop diva Pink March 9-10, and stay at the nearby and affordable Best Western Plus Chicago Hotel at Hillside!

The pride of Philadelphia, Alecia Beth Moore morphed into rock star Pink, after Mr. Pink of “Reservoir Dogs,” and rocked to stardom. She was performing in girl bands in Philadelphia rock clubs when she was fourteen. She was also addicted to several drugs. Now she’s a mom and a glam star, and the pop diva has sold sixteen million albums in the United States and forty-seven million albums worldwide.

In 2000, Pink along with Christina Aguilera and Lil Kim sang “Lady Marmalade” (which would become Pink’s first Number One hit) for the soundtrack of the film “Moulin Rouge.” Her hit song “Get the Party Started,” won two MTV Music Awards for Best Female Video and Best Dance Video. Pink’s first album, “Can’t Take Me Home” contained two hit singles, “There You Go” and “Most Girls” and the album went platinum. She won her first Grammy Award (Best Female Rock Performance) for her third album, “Try This.”

The United Center, “the house That Jordon built,” is located at 1901 West Madison Street in Chicago. For tickets, go online to https://www.ticketmaster.com/ venueartist/32882/718655?&brand=unitedcenter and follow the prompts.
