Oak Park Micro Brew Review

Come to the downtown Oak Park Micro Brew Review Saturday, August 20, and stay at the nearby and affordable Best Western Plus Chicago Hotel At Hillside!

The Oak Park Micro Brew Review is the largest zero-waste craft brew festival in the Midwest. Nothing but nothing goes in to garbage cans. Ninety-two breweries featuring two hundred craft beers for tasting, will be on hand. Meet and greet with the brewers as they pour your selections!

A general admission ticket gets you a sampling of forty different brews. There will be food booths, booths selling tasty homemade relishes and other condiments, and lots of eclectic music. Children and dogs are welcome, but they don’t get to drink beer. Designated drivers may attend the festival for free. Only patrons wearing wrist bands may drink. Enjoy small snacks or full meals suitable for omnivores and vegetarians.

And there will be beautiful Oak Park, one of Chicagoland’s gems, with stunning architecture (Frank Lloyd Wright homes), historic sites (see Ernest Hemingway’s house), wonderful parks and a laid back atmosphere.

The Oak Park Micro Brew Review is an open air event (rain or shine) along Marion Street between Lake Street and Pleasant Avenue. To order tickets in advance (recommended), go online to https://sevengenerationsahead.org and follow the prompts.
