Elton John won five Grammy Awards, five Brit Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Tony Award, and he was honored at the 2004 Kennedy Center Awards. He was inducted into the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Elton John ranks 49th on the 100 Influential Musicians of the Rock and Roll Era list.
