Share Cher, cheri, with your loved ones, when the fabulous one and her D2K Tour, featuring Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, appear at the United Center on October 24, and stay at the nearby and affordable Best Western Plus Chicago Hotel at Hillside!
Cher has been farewell touring for years, yet: “she is in exceptional form, as a singer, entertainer and tour guide through her 50 years in show business. And it all worked magically under the vast, rainbow-colored umbrella known as ‘Cher’” – Boston Globe.
Cherilyn Sarkisian is as iconic an American entertainer as can be. She partnered with Sonny Bono in 1965 and the duo became an instant success. Their Number 1 hit, “Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves,” says it all. In the 1980’s, Cher starred in the movie “Silkwood,” to rave reviews. In 1998, she was back again with her hit song “Believe.” Her first farewell tour lasted three years. D2K (dressed to kill) will last at least that long, as this indestructible force in pop music, with her daring costume changes and show biz kitsch, continues to wow audiences.
Pat Benatar is a four time Grammy winner with a string of pop hits going back thirty years. She was the first woman artist to appear on MTV. Neil “Spyder” Giraldo is Benatar’s husband and leader of her band. He broke in with Rick Derringer’s band and has worked with such rock luminaries as Rick Springfield Kenny Loggins.
