The 2014 NIKE Invitational
Tournament of Champions has got the ball bouncing by announcing the return of the premier basketball tournament of the summer! The 2014 NIKE National Invitational (A.K.A. NIKE Summer Showcase) is back and will be hosted under one roof in Downtown Chicago’s McCormick Place.
Hoops and dreams will be being made from Wednesday 9th to Saturday 12th July, 2014. The Nike Invitational sees the nation’s leading junior ball players take to the court. In fact, forty courts will be set up for this fantastic tournament. Over 400 teams comprised of 6,000 athletes from across the country will compete in just four days!
Tickets will be available to buy at McCormick Place during the event. Per day admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Plus there will be discount tournament passes on offer. For those taking part in the event, you’ll be happy to learn that all coaches and athletes can take advantage of free transportation provided by the tournament to and from Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway Airports.
