Enjoy hundreds of spring flowering annuals and perennials. Walk among azaleas, camellias and hydrangeas, and feel winter’s chill fade away.

The Garfield Park Conservatory, considered one of the largest and most stunning conservatories in the country, is always green and lush, no matter what the season. After the Spring Flower Show tour, visit the thousands of plants housed in the tropical rooms. Come take a stroll and be transported away!

Your kids will like the classes and adventures at the Garfield Park Conservatory. Wander through the Elizabeth Morse Genius Children’s Garden. Wild Wednesday, April 30, features wild animal presenter Scott Heinrich with his guests, tree frog and gecko. Scavenger Hunt takes place every day at the conservatory. Ask for free scavenger kits at the entrance. Donations suggested. Conservatory Explorers: Enjoy the Spy Conservation Hunt by downloading the PDF file, sponsored by the Chicago Wilderness Society. Saturday, April 12, enjoy Origami Open House, fun for all ages. Bring your own paper. Children must be accompanied by adults.
