Counting Crows first album “August and Everything After,” featuring the hit song “Mr. Jones,” brought the band to stardom. They have sold over twenty million albums and were nominated for an Oscar for their song “Accidentally in Love,” which was in the film “Shrek 2.” Counting Crows is best known for its live shows and restructuring of their old songs.
Rob Thomas is a German American singer formerly of the band Matchbox Twenty. He has won three Grammy Awards for his contributions to the Carlos Santana triple platinum album “Supernatural.” His songs have been recorded by Willie Nelson, Mick Jagger, Marc Anthony, Travis Tritt and a host of others.
